Staff student Evening

 

An OPTAA-OPTSA get-together was organized by the newly formed OPTAA governing body on 25.3.2015. It was held in the YWCA VIP hall and was attended by 30+ alumni and around 45 students and interns from OPTSA. Ice breaker games were conducted and the students and alumni got a chance to interact with each other over dinner. A lucky draw was held for students and two students were selected as the winners. Gifts were given away by Mr. Rajkumar S. (Batch of 1997, OT).

Best OPTSAite AWARD

 

The best OPTSAite award for the batch of 2010 was awarded to Mr. John Lysanias Daniel from PT and Mr. Ashish Giri from OT. The idea of this award was conceived in 2011 with the intent to appreciate the contribution of students towards OPTSA. Forms were distributed to the batch 3 weeks in advance and the motive behind.

 

Facilitation Dinner

 

A felicitation dinner was organised by the governing body for the senior faculty members of Occupational and Physiotherapy departments on 29.05.2015 in Big Bungalow lawn. Mr. Lenny Vasanthan, Mr. Samuel Kirubakaran and Mr. Senthil Velkumar from the department of Physiotherapy and Mr. Sanjeev Padankatti and Mr. Samuel Kamalesh Kumar from the department of Occupational therapy were present for the same. Scope of OPTAA’s contribution towards departmental welfare was discussed and expectations from the faculty regarding role of alumni in education and student welfare were spoken about.
